Finally mams & paps made it to the Upper West Side and stayed with us for a week. Despite fierce competition, arguably the lowest-maintenance guests we've ever had.

As requested by us, for the first time in their long travel history they came totally unprepared and with a blank agenda. On the blackboard: a pleasantly victorian meet-the-parents dinner at the Boathouse, two days chilling in Lonelyville (one of the first occasions I actually witnessed mams chill) and the classic three-boro biketour, Brompton meets Friday.
